Rare Owl Times is an animated mini-series Showrunner created to help encourage Dubliner’s to shop local during the first lockdown. It centres around a bunch of Owl Ones and Owl Fellas who are based on the charming old characters we’d all recognise from the streets of this Fair city. As they frequent their local businesses, and tell us some old yarns, they remind us to shop local like they did in the rare auld times. This 3-part series is available on YouTube or RTE Player.
For this project, we brought together a wealth of talent, with our owl voices provided by Tony Cantwell, Ali Fox, and Wren Dennehy, visuals from Ross Carvill, and sound design from Dean Jones.
